Quality Assurance
Snowy River manufacturers all products in the US based upon industry Good Manufacturing practices. All products are designed to meet FDA, USDA, Kosher and other quality assurance standards. Specification sheets and certificate of analysis documentation is available on request.
Ultimate Baker does not currently import any food shipments into the US directly but ensures that any of its suppliers that do so maintain strict BioTerrorism protocols including the reporting of all food shipments into the US to the FDA.
As at date of writing we can confirm that Ultimate Baker is in compliance with FDA requirements and the BioTerrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 and will continue to monitor and comply with such regulations.
Prop 65 Compliance
California Proposition 65 (also known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) refers to the California legislation that was intended by its authors to protect California citizens and the State’s drinking water sources from chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and to inform citizens about exposures to such chemicals.
Proposition 65 requires businesses to notify Californians about significant amounts of chemicals in the products they purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. By providing this information, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about protecting themselves from exposure to these chemicals. Proposition 65 also prohibits California businesses from knowingly discharging significant amounts of listed chemicals into sources of drinking water.
All Snowy River products have been fully tested and do not contain chemicals at concentrations that would require a California Prop 65 warning label.
Product Returns
Under US Food Tampering laws, food items sold online are typically not returnable and should be disposed of. We will however replace items damaged in transport or where incorrect items have been shipped. Any issues need to be reported to us via phone or email within 7 days of receipt for a refund or return. Returns will only be refunded where the original item has not been opened or tampered with in any way.
Shipping
Snowy River ships product world-wide for its retail and wholesale customers. All orders leaving the US must be paid with clear funds for both product and shipping costs. US orders may be paid with credit card or product terms for wholesale accounts.
All retail orders typically ship within 24-48hrs. Wholesale and private label shipping will vary based upon the size of the order and level of customization required.
Shipping prices within the US offer customers the option for a price per pound, store pickup or are free for retail orders over $50. Shipping costs start at only $4.45 and will ship US First Class or US Priority Mail. FedEx services as well as express are also available.
Please note that Snowy River does not allow independent freight companies (outside of FedEx, UPS, or DHL) to pickup goods from our facility without cleared payment in advance.
